"Zakia designs digital operating systems for modern organizations."
These are not separate businesses. They are different expressions of the same discipline. Every project — from a library AI program to a healthcare compliance system — is an organization learning to operate inside a structured digital environment.
Not fragmented. Layered.
Zakia began her career as an Instructional Designer and Subject Matter Expert, implementing enterprise LMS systems inside corporate environments. She learned early what it means to design structured digital learning at scale — and what happens when organizations skip that structure.
When she launched Natural Soap by Zakia, she had to build her own digital infrastructure from scratch — ecommerce, marketing systems, livestream engagement, and online education. Enterprise tools were too expensive. So she adapted what she knew to bootstrapped environments, and discovered that the principles still held.
As people asked how she was doing it, she began teaching through Live Soap School. During the pandemic, her experience with livestreaming positioned her to help organizations recreate meaningful digital environments — leading to the creation of Virtual Experience Design Agency. Through that work, she identified the core problem: organizations didn't lack tools. They lacked orientation. They didn't know what systems they needed or how those systems should connect.
That discovery is what her work is built on today.

Technology alone doesn't transform businesses. Education alone doesn't either.
Real progress happens when tools, learning environments, media, and community work together. The ecosystem below shows how the initiatives I lead connect to support entrepreneurs and small business communities.
